Plans are well in hand for this very special four-day celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee - Thursday 2nd June to Sunday 5th June. Fowey will also be hosting the prestigious International 14s Prince of Wales Cup - these beautiful, fast boats will be incredibly exciting to watch. Wednesday, 1st Hog Roast on the Terrace for members, guests and crews of International 14s. Tickets £15 available from the bar or office
Thursday, 2nd Lighting of the Beacons around the estuary. Welcome Hour at 19.30 Fish and Chips, and Moule/frites on the menu for members and guests. The restaurant is now fully booked.
Friday, 3rd International 14s Prizegiving Dinner (invitees only). The bar only will be open for members and their guests. Fireworks at Brazen Island at 22:00
Saturday, 4th“ Street Party” on the Club Terrace (or inside if necessary) The Lostwithiel Silver Band will be playing. It promises to be lots of fun. The Club will provide salads and pud; members are invited to bring main courses such as Coronation Chicken, salmon or quiche. Paul is planning some special Jubilee cocktails.
Members may wish to wear red, white and blue. There is no club racing on this Saturday.
