FEBRUARY 22^ND 2012 Gardeners’ Question Time

By now many members will be turning their attention to their gardens and allotments and our panel of expert gardeners, Juliet Gould (formerly of RHS Gardens, Wisley), Amanda Piercy (owner of one of Cornwall’s top 100 gardens) and John Anderson (former nursery owner and manager of the Barbara Hepworth Garden) will be on hand to offer advice and help.

Please come armed with questions and problems for discussion!

By popular request, Commodore and poetry-enthusiast Dick Doidge-Harrison compères a second edition of ‘Poetry Please’ in which members share a favourite poem.

MARCH 7^TH 2012 Adventures of an Ice Climber

Graham Piercy, entrepreneur and mountain-climber, will give a candid and humorous talk about climbing in Cornwall, the UK and the greater ranges, including anecdotes from his own climbing adventures from Zennor to the Alps as he indulges his passion for vertical adventure.

Programme subject to alteration.

The programme begins at 8 p.m.
