There are plans to have a cruiser rally combined with the racing fraternity to Salcombe over the weekend 4th and 5th September. This is in response to a request by the cruising community and it will be a self regulated combined elapsed time race/rally there and back. There will be a combined start from Fowey (10.30 am approx) and each yacht takes their own finish time but the start back can be any time one likes so long as one meets the time limit of 5 pm on Wednesday 8th September! Further details will be promulgated nearer the time.
MCA CG66 Safety. Yacht owners and particularly cruiser skippers are reminded that the Maritime Coastguard Agency offers a safety service for those completing a CG66. The completion of the form is voluntary but is strongly recommended and is renewable every two years. It can be done on line so please visit the MCA on https://mcanet.mcga.gov.uk/public/cg66/.
